The Craft of Living

Not Just a Trip, Months Immersed in the Heart of Japan

About host

Sho - Cultural Host

Hi, I'm Sho from Okinawa, Japan. Since I was a child, I was curious about the world beyond Japan.

That dream came true when I was 35. Living in different countries and across Japan's regions

helped me understand myself more deeply and see Japan with fresh eyes. From that, I created HASU as a place to feel the true charm of Japan that you cannot get from sightseeing alone.

Here, by taking time to immerse yourself in local life and culture, you may discover a new side of yourself. HASU is more than a homestay — it is a gentle space to meet local people, learn through tradition, and keep experiences that stay with you.
